Who is responsible for your data

Charged Development (“we”, “us”) is the controller of the personal data described below. We are based in Stockholm, Sweden and work remotely with clients worldwide.

  • Email: contacts@chargeddata.com
  • Phone: +46 72 233 84 11
  • Location: Stockholm, Sweden

Any question about your data goes to that email address and reaches a person, not a queue.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry through the form on this site, we receive what you type into it:

  • Company name, your name, email address and country — the fields marked required.
  • Phone number and how you found us — optional.
  • The services you ticked, your description of the problem, the systems you use, your timeline and budget range — all optional.
  • Your confirmation that we may contact you about the enquiry.

We do not ask for special categories of data — health, political opinions, biometrics and the like — and we do not want them. Please keep them out of the free-text fields.

When you only read the site, the hosting provider records standard server log data: IP address, browser user agent, the page requested and the time of the request.

Why we process it, and on what legal basis

  • To answer your enquiry and prepare a possible agreement. Legal basis: your consent, given with the tick box (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), and steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
  • To keep the site available and secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating the site (Article 6(1)(f)).

We do not use your data for advertising, we do not build profiles, and we do not sell, rent or trade it with anyone.

Who else processes it

  • Formspree, Inc. (USA) — receives the form submission and delivers it to our inbox.
  • GitHub, Inc. (USA) — hosts this website and keeps the server logs described above.
  • Google — serves the web font this site uses; loading it transmits your IP address to Google.

Those are transfers outside the EU/EEA. They rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and, where the provider is certified, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for 24 months after our last contact with you, then deleted. If an enquiry turns into a project, the data becomes part of the contract relationship and is kept for as long as that relationship and Swedish accounting law require. Server logs are short-lived and controlled by our hosting provider.

Ask us to delete your enquiry sooner and we will.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no tracking pixel, no advertising script, and nothing is written to your browser’s local storage.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the data we hold about you,
  • correct it if it is wrong,
  • delete it,
  • restrict how we use it, or object to that use,
  • hand it over in a portable format,
  • withdraw your consent at any time — which does not affect processing already carried out.

Write to contacts@chargeddata.com. We answer within 30 days.

If you believe we handle your data improperly, you can lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY) — imy.se.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be described here rather than made silently.
